The incredibly controversial mid-season premiere, Honor is the episode that killed off Carl Grimes and alienated the vast majority of the show's viewers.
It's worth remembering the positives of the episode, including Chandler Riggs' heartbreaking central performance and the development of Rick as a conflicted war leader, but there can be no denying that the decision to kill Carl was a bad move, ruining any positives the episode may have had going for it.
Seeing a character go who'd been on the show since day one is tough, but when the execution is this rushed and underwhelming - after everything, he's beaten by a walker bite - it hurts in more ways than one. The emotion is high and the acting strong, but Carl's death in the long run proves too tough to take.
