Eugene, the mulletted marvel, has been stepping up to the plate in recent weeks. He's done all he can to prove that he's a survivor, and can hack it with the best of 'em. He's killed a walker. He went off on his own in the finale. He's figured out how to make ammo. He bit a d*ck! 

In that regard, you could see why the show might kill off Eugene now. They've built him up to be more than the bumbling coward everyone assumed he was, and that could mean setting him up for an extremely bloody fall. 

But... imagine, after months and months of waiting and wondering, speculation, misleading interviews with the cast and crew, we get to the Season 7 premiere, and the person Negan kills is Eugene. If you're frustrated with The Walking Dead right now, it's nothing compared to if that happens, but the worst thing is it wouldn't surprise me that much if they did it.
