The Walking Dead Season 11 Review: 3 Ups & 7 Downs From "Out Of The Ashes"

1. UP: The Commonwealth Is Spectacular

The Walking Dead
AMC

Once you get past just how rushed the Commonwealth arc is this episode, it's hard to not be taken in by the visual splendour of the place.

Granted, we've not seen too much of it, but the well-kept buildings, market stalls, newborn babies, train station, constitutional law system and extremely cheerful ad campaign (seriously) make it a sight to behold, and one I can't for the show to fully explore going forward.

This is the closest any of the Survivors have got to pre-apocalypse civilisation, and though there's sure to be some serious roadblocks in the future, the fact that we've finally seen the community and have entered a whole new era for the show is sure to excite the series' long-time fans.
