The Walking Dead Season 11 Review - 5 Ups & 3 Downs From "Lockdown"

Opening and ending the episode, Daryl and Lance's showdowns have set up what fans can expect from the final season with this action-packed episode.

Many will be familiar with Daryl's abilities to execute a brilliant strategy and handle a variety of weapons in combat, but season eleven also saw just how cunning Lance could be and established his potential as one of the series' greatest villains. He may not have used his revolver so much, but Lance is a sneaky and sinister thinker who has been shown to try and be one step ahead of everyone else.

During their two major confrontations, these rivals attempt to outsmart one another with the tools at their disposal. While Daryl delivered a heavy blow to Lance, the rogue would learn and adapt, eventually outsmarting and outmanoeuvring Daryl and the other escapees.

How their confrontation will end in the next episode is hard to predict, but considering Daryl will soon star in a spin-off series with Carol, it's safe to say that he will live on to tell the tale. But what a great way to open and end the episode and bring fans back into this world.
