Ross Marquand, who plays the part of Aaron, is now contracted to being a series regular for Season 6. After the initial wary start, Aaron was proven to be the man he claimed to be, and struck up and unlikely, yet really cool, bond with Daryl, with the pair's defining moment coming while stuck in the Wolves' car trap. Each man was willing to die for the other, another step in the right direction for Daryl who is integrating himself into the community. However, the main intrigue surrounds Alexandra Breckenridge (Jessie). As Rick's first real love interest since Lori's death, the inclusion of Jessie is fresh and exciting, with Breckenridge having an option in her contract which could see her promoted to becoming a regular. It's not definitive whether that option has been exercised yet, but Greg Nicotero has already spoken about possibilities between her and Rick. He told Melty.com: "I don't think it would be out of the question for something to spark between Rick and Jessie, because it already did. But there are also a lot of other things that you have to think about. Rick murdered the father of her children, so I can't imagine that's gonna be something that she's going to be able to get over easily."
