4. What Happens If You Eat Tainted Pig Meat?

When Richard first tells Morgan that he's having the pigs eat a walker because he wants their "bellies full of rot", it just seems like he's being a total creep. But whatever Richard, you do you.

It later transpires he had a good reason though: those pigs weren't for the Kingdom, but the Saviours.

He's sent Negan's men some rotted swine, but what will that actually do? We've seen before what comes of eating 'tainted meat', but that was a human. Since animals can eat walkers without turning, does then eating a pig that's eaten a zombie have any side-effects?
