The Walking Dead Season 7: 10 Fatal Mistakes It Must Avoid
5. Negan Has To Stick Around
The Walking Dead is brimming with people - alive and dead - who simply want to kill. There are more 'villains' in the show than any other, because essentially everyone outside of the main group is a threat.
Yet none of the so-called 'villains' have stuck around long enough to carve out a menacing reputation bar The Governor. That's where Negan comes in. He has the potential to become a multi-season enemy worthy of the greatest to appear on the small screen.
He shouldn't die in Season 7. As much as the writers like to refresh the show every eight episodes, if he goes within the next run, it'll be a huge buildup for a whimpering exit. Negan could be brought down or sidelined by the end, but he can't die. Daredevil made Wilson Fisk work across multiple seasons in fantastic style, TWD must encapsulate that same spirit with Negan.
