The Walking Dead Season 8: 10 Most Revealing Things The Cast Have Said

7. "Lots Of Killing, A Lot More Negan"

The Walking Dead Season 8 Quotes
AMC

What Was Said?

"This season, there’s going to be lots of explosions, lots of killing, a lot more Negan. Yeah, lots of fighting. Lots of cool stuff. It’s really, really fun this season.”

Who Said It?

Chandler Riggs (Carl Grimes) - Triple J

What Does This Mean?

Lots of killing - that is to be expected from The Walking Dead, especially during a season which is based on the biggest warfare in the graphic novels.

But lots of Negan? There had been reports that we would not see much of Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s evil tyrant in the first half of the upcoming run, after his overexposure in season seven, but Riggs has promised even more of the arch-villain upon the show’s return.

Negan and Carl actually shared some great scenes together in season seven, so more of the baseball-bat wielding baddy can be a good thing, if he gets to interact with some new faces such as King Ezekiel and Carol rather than simply more posturing with Rick and Daryl.
