17. Peeping Tom

One of the great gags of Mulder and Scully Meet the Were-Monster is the series of peepholes behind the walls of the motel that both Guy Mann (the were-monster in question) and our FBI heroes have checked into. The proprietor of this fine, upstanding establishment nervously tells agent Mulder that these are a security feature, before recounting his tale of spying on Guy Mann as he changed from an apparent human into some sort of reptile man. You might recognize this innkeeper from other X-Files outings: actor Alex Diakun is a series vet who has played four different character in four different episodes of the series, as well as having played a small but key role in the X-Files second feature film, 2008's I Want to Believe. Anyway, this creepy old man spying on you is sheer WTF, and I don't blame Mulder for telling Scully they need to check out, pronto!
