6. The Incidental Vehicles Have A Terrific Retro Vibe
A big part of the appeal of the original Thunderbirds series was the fantastic design work on the futuristic vehicles, aircraft, and settings. And the trailer reveals that the new series will focus just as much effort and attention to detail on these elements. It seems that an undersea mining vessel of some kind (see above picture) will be getting into trouble and requiring the aid of International Rescue! No doubt Thunderbird 4 will be deploying shortly and coming to its aid. If all the vehicles and ships in Thunderbirds Are Go! have this lovingly realised, retro feel to them, fans are going to be very happy indeed.
