40. Beavis and Butt-Head
Of course growing up watching them at the time I thought they were hilarious, now not so much. Are they kids? Are they grown men? I don't even know, but what I do know is that Beavis and Butt-Head debuted on MTV in 1992 and is a show that centers around the two idiots as they talk about random shit and watch music videos together. Created and voiced by Mike Judge, Beavis and Butt-Head have an incredibly loyal fan base with almost a cult like following so there's no denying their presence on this list.
39. Roseanne
The show Roseanne was bigger then you think. It was the #1 rated show in America from 1989-1992 and ran from 1988-1997 in all. She was a loud, obnoxious, foul mouthed, no bullshit, in your face kind of woman, yet that's what made her so lovable. A former stand up comic, Roseanne made the show funny and edgy, pouncing at the opportunity to talk about real world issues, therefore going other places most TV shows weren't going at the time. All in all Roseanne was funny and relatable to most families in America at the time. She's earned her way onto this list (let her have it, she's got nothing left).
38. Tommy Pickles - Rugrats
Now Tommy Pickles may be the only Rugrat on this list but I'll give Chuckie some love too. The two best friends went on some pretty wild adventures considering they were only 1 and 2 years old. Chuckie played Tommy's wide eyed cowardly best friend in the show who always seemed to get dragged into Tommy's adventures. There other friends include the twins Phil and Lil and Tommy's annoying older cousin Angelica. Lets face it, without Tommy there is no Rugrats and even though they act better as a whole than individuals, I had to put one of them on the list. Might as well make it the leader.
37. Ash Ketchum - Pokemon
First of all, pleeeeaaaase don't act like you didn't play and or watch the show Pokemon, you'd just be lying me and yourself. It was a phenomenon that swept the nation like pogs or yo-yo's except better. At the head of the table sat one kid, Ash Ketchum of Pallet Town. The cartoon follows Ash on his quest to becoming a Pokemon master, going to different gyms in order to beat the gym leaders in order to get badges so he can compete in the Pokemon tournament. Ash is a man amongst boys and if you think any differently, you'd be wrong.
36. The Entire Cast of All That
Ahhh, the Saturday Night Live for kids. All That was in my humble opinion the best show on Nickelodeon at the time. Yes, yes, I did love Are You Afraid of the Dark, Salute Your Shorts, The Adventures of Pete and Pete, Guts, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Double Dare, Rocko's Modern Life so on and so forth but All That really did shine above the rest. Featuring a great cast (most notably Kenan Thompson who can now be seen on SNL today) All That was a sketch comedy show for kids, performed by kids! If you were a kid in the 90's and watched All That, you probably wanted to be on it too. I know I did...
