The Walking Dead: 15 Stupid Decisions Lori Grimes Would Be Proud Of

3. Daryl Channels Lori ("Isolation")

Now, Daryl may have earned his popularity by being more competent than anybody else on the show, and he may have reached the zombie apocalypse equivalent of a rock star in Season 4, but he's still not a stranger to the occasional terrible decision. Case in point: "Isolation." When a devastating disease begins to sweep through the prison, Daryl takes Michonne, Tyreese, and Bob on a run to a veterinary college for medications. On the drive out, Daryl and Michonne have a slightly uncomfortable heart-to-heart. To dispel the awkwardness, Daryl begins to fiddle with the radio. Michonne rummages for a CD, but they are all taken aback when they hear a recorded broadcast crackling out over the airwaves. "Sanctuary base...those who arrive, survive," says a voice, and everybody exchanges looks of shock. Including Daryl. Cue collision. To his credit, Daryl recovers from his lapse in concentration far better than Lori back in Season 2. While he also plowed into a slowly meandering Walker, he at least managed not to flip the entire car over in the process. Of course, he then stops--presumably to give the camera enough time to pull back and scare the pants off the viewers €“ and allows the car to become enveloped in a zombie horde. Dozens of Walkers pressing up against the car and trying to force their way in to eat our heroes is a deliciously creepy image, but it doesn't say a whole lot about Daryl that he managed to get them into the situation in the first place.
