WandaVision: 10 Burning Questions After Episodes 1 & 2
3. How Big A Role Will The Twins Play?
After the talent show was put on in Westview to raise money for the children of the town, Wanda found herself inexplicably pregnant at the end of the episode. Anyone who has seen the trailers will know that it will be twins that bless the Vision residence, but those that know the comics will know that these babies grow up to be Speed and Wiccan.
In the comics, Speed's powers, as the name would suggest, are similar to that of his uncle Quicksilver, while Wiccan inherits the mystical, reality altering powers of his mother. Both go on to have successful superhero careers, and each play big roles in the Young Avengers team.
It's currently unknown exactly how long Wanda and Vision will reside in Westview, but with the former falling pregnant out of absolutely nowhere, there is no reason to think we couldn't see the boys grow into teenagers and young adults before the series is over.
However, this certainly isn't guaranteed, and at this point it is very unclear just how much the twins will play into the narrative of the show. They could bring their parents under the scrutiny of the rest of the town with their sudden existence, or they could simply be something that Wanda creates in this reality since she's not able to have children with Vision in the real world.
