WandaVision: 5 Vision Comics Marvel Fans Need To Read

2. Vision & The Scarlet Witch, Vol. 2

The Vision Tom King
Marvel Comics

Over the course of their history, The Vision has starred in two limited comic series alongside his major love interest, the Scarlet Witch. Here, we will discuss the second, twelve issue series, first released in 1985.

Tired of the constant peril of life with The Avengers, Wanda and Vision retire from the team, moving into the suburbs with a plan to start a family. Unfortunately, many of their new neighbours are not happy to have a mutant and a synthezoid in the neighbourhood.

Vision must also face his past when he battles the Grim Reaper. Vision carries the brain-waves of the Reaper's brother, Simon Williams, and unfortunately, he sees Vision as a poor imitation. Vol.2 is also notable for including the birth of Wanda and Vision's twin sons, whom eventually become the Young Avengers Wiccan and Speed. The birth of the twins is also set to be one of the major events in WandaVision.

Vision & The Scarlet Witch Vol.2, along with 2015's The Vision and the iconic Scarlet Witch story House Of M, are said to serve as the main inspirations for the upcoming WandaVision series.
