WandaVision: 5 Vision Comics Marvel Fans Need To Read

1. The Vision (2015-2016)

The Vision Tom King
DC Comics

After being chosen as the Avengers' new liaison to the White House, The Vision makes the move to Virginia, taking his newly built synthezoid family with him: A Wife, Virginia, and twin children, Viv and Vin.

After Virginia brutally murders a villain who breaks into the family home and seriously injures Viv, her mental state begins to deteriorate, becoming even worse when she is blackmailed over the murder. Vision tries desperately to cover everything up, only for his 'normal family' to spiral further and further out of control.

The twelve issue series, beginning in 2015, is seen as probably the greatest Vision story in the character's history.

The suburban, uncanny valley setting of the comic is mirrored in the trailer for WandaVision, and The Vision's writer, Tom King, served as a consultant on the show. In more recent years, some fans have come to see The Vision comic as a mirror-image of the Scarlet Witch's actions in House Of M. Each one was trying to recreate the family they had once had with each other. Unfortunately, both attempts were doomed from the start.
