Westworld Season 2 Premiere: 7 Ups And 3 Downs From 'Journey Into Night'

4. Here Comes The Man In Black

Despite being shot in the Season 1 finale, Ed Harris' Man in Black, aka Old William, is back in action here, and it's a good thing too: he is, by a clear distance, the most interesting human character on the show now.

Like with Dolores he gets to be involved in a few action sequences which add some excitement to the proceedings, but also, now the William reveal is done, there's far more clarity and understanding to the character.

Even with the robots rising up, he's still the one character that it's truly enthralling, maybe even a little unnerving, to watch because you're never quite sure of what he'll do or how he'll react, and Harris perfectly captures that unpredictability.
