Westworld Season 2 Premiere: 7 Ups And 3 Downs From 'Journey Into Night'
3. Answering Some Questions Rather Than Simply Posing Them
The first season layered mystery upon mystery, until it got to a place where it could make its various rug-pulls all at once. There were constant questions to be asked, and it wasn't really until the finale they were answered, which itself then left more behind concerning Ford, the Man in Black, Dolores, Maeve, Bernard, and more.
Journey Into Night, though, isn't to concerned with holding all of the information from us. After so long away it does resolve a number of the bigger questions, and while it has to set up some longer running mysteries, there's also a sense that it's being a little bit straighter with the audience this time around.
And no, the dog doesn't actually appear in the show. There is, however, another dog (well, wolf) in the episode, which is just as good. 13/10.
