That's right; it seems that switching gender is something that runs in the family. Linda is an absolute show-stealer most of the time, as her silliness and eager attitude reminds many people of their overly confident family members, and it's a constant source of humour. Her vocal performance is a major part of what makes her work, and we have John Roberts to thank for that.
Outside of Linda Belcher, Roberts has his fingers in many pies, as he also works as a comedian performing on YouTube, has lent his voice to a few notable shows and even works as a singer - making Linda proud. Some of his most successful projects include Xyler on Gravity Falls and even playing Pinhead in a Hellraiser video short (which sadly never became the feature-length movie it promised to be).
But, he doesn't just play Linda, as he also provides the voice for Jocelyn, meaning he's got a foot at the restaurant and the school.
