10 Amazing UFC Fights You Must Watch In February

2. Joseph Benavidez Vs. Deiveson Figueiredo -UFC Fight Night 169

Although Henry Cejudo's reign at flyweight was short-lived - pun intended - that doesn't mean the 125lb division is dead. In fact, now that he's no longer holding the weight class up, we can finally crown a new champion.

Luckily for MMA fans around the world, the division sorted itself out while the King of Cringe was fighting up a weight class and now we have a title fight between perennial contender, Joseph Benavidez, and Brazilian Muay Thai specialist, Deiveson Figueiredo.

Benavidez has fought a who's who of fighters at bantamweight and flyweight, mostly delivering some extremely exciting performances during these bouts. A couple of losses to flyweight great Demetrious Johnson and one defeat to Sergio Pettis at 125lb hasn't stopped him from taking a spot while the division re-organised itself.

So when Cejudo dropped the title, many believed that Benavidez should be given a shot at the belt. However, he's got an incredibly tough challenge in front of him in Figueiredo. The Brazilian has been one of the most consistently violent additions to the UFC's roster in years.

His bludgeoning of John Moraga, plus the violent Fight of the Night earning battle between Alexandre Pantoja, proves that he'll provide an interesting problem for Benavidez to try and solve come fight night.
