10 Best UFC Fighters Of The Last Decade
3. Khabib Nurmagomedov
If you've been watching MMA for a number of years, you'll already know that some of the best fighters to compete in MMA are in the lightweight division. It's for this exact reason why it's been so difficult to pinpoint the best to ever compete at 155lb. That was until Khabib Nurmagomedov changed everything and left very little doubt as to who the man is.
The undefeated Dagestani has smashed - or "smeshed" if you're asking him - his way through a who's who of 155lb talent since he made his UFC debut. In fact, it's hard to argue that he's even lost a round since he first fought Kamal Shalarous all of those years ago.
To be undefeated and unrivalled in the toughest division the sport has to offer is simply unheard of. Yet time and time again, Nurmagomedov has managed to make top level fighters look average. He's almost become a Floyd Mayweather-esque character, but without the vitriol that comes with being the boxing villain.
Despite being a staggering 28-0 in his career, there are still some challenges remaining for him at 155lb, specifically the man we have at number 10 on this list. However, if he was to retire today, his status as a lightweight great still wouldn't be questioned.
