10 Times Feet Were Better Than Fists Inside Of The Octagon

4. Rashad Evans Vs. Sean Salmon (UFC Fight Night 8)

Coming into UFC Fight Night 8, Rashad Evans was enjoying an undefeated streak which had stretched over his first nine fights as a Mixed Martial Artist.

Winning The Ultimate Fighter 2 had forced UFC fans to take notice of the rising star and people were now eagerly anticipating who would fall to 'Suga' next - after he'd successfully managed to knock off Sam Hoger, Stephan Bonnar and Jason Lambert under the promotion's umbrella.

Sean Salmon was the next unfortunate soul to find himself opposite Evans during this commanding run of form and before long he became yet another example as to why feet are - without a shadow a doubt - better than fists.

Salmon teased his own elaborate flying head kick early in the fight, but Evans showed his rival how it was done early in the second round.

Tentatively sizing each other up - each refusing to show their hand - Evans lured Salmon away with his left hand before landing a killer head kick which rendered 'Suga's opponent motionless.

This marked Evans' first (and only) head kick KO in his MMA career and proved once again how one sweetly timed foot strike could explode an audience into hysteria.
