5 Burning Question That Will Be Answered At UFC 236

2. Can Erik Anders Avoid His Third Consecutive Loss?

A little over a year ago, Erik Anders was sporting a perfect 10-0 record and preparing to take on Lyoto Machia as a UFC Fight Night headliner. Anders would go on to lose the Machida fight and has gone 1-2 inside the Octagon since. Now 11-3, Anders will need to get past the hard-hitting Khalil Roundtree to avoid his third consecutive loss in the UFC.

For his part, Roundtree has knocked out three of his last five opponents and has been pretty much an all or nothing fighter. In five of his seven UFC fights, Roundtree has either finished his opponent or been finished himself. His record with the promotion stands at 3-3-1.

Anders is an exciting fighter, and all of his losses have been competitive —so he probably won't be cut if he comes up short this Saturday. That being said, if the former Alabama Crimson Tide linebacker hopes to remain on pay-per-view main cards, a win here is a must.
