UFC 240 Preview And Predictions

3. Geoff Neal Vs. Niko Price

With three impressive wins inside the Octagon, welterweight prospect Geoff Neal has come out of nowhere as a potential threat in the division. His stunning head kick victory over Frank Camacho and assured performance against the very tough Belal Muhammad has made him a bit of a dark horse in the weight class.

While Neal is a very measured and patient striker, his opponent, Niko Price, is the type of fighter who seems to thrive in the chaos of a fight. Price is sort of like a poor man's Carlos Condit. He's not as skilful as The Natural Born Killer, but has that particular ability to draw opponents into brawls.

If Neal is able to maintain his composure and pick apart Price before landing a kill shot, it'll show just how mature and intelligent he is as a fighter. However, if he's sucked into a firefight with his opponent it could be lights out very quickly.

Everything Neal has done since he joined the UFC has shown us that he's a cool character, so he's certainly the best bet. Price can be reckless and with someone who is as accurate Neal, that could prove to be a major problem for him.
