UFC 240 Preview And Predictions

2. Cris Cyborg Vs. Felicia Spencer

It's been a long time since Cris Cyborg has competed without a title on the line. In fact, when her opponent Felicia Spencer made her professional debut, Cyborg was already a champion and had beaten legendary women like Marloes Coenen and Gina Carano.

There's no better way to describe her other than a 'destroyer'. There's nothing pretty or flamboyant about her game. She simply throws violent combinations and most women end up unconscious, staring up at the lights wondering what day it is.

Spencer is a very slick grappler and quite relentless in her approach. As soon as the Canadian gets even the smallest opportunity, she's jumping on her opponent's back and searching for the rear naked choke finish.

As impressive as that's been, the problem here is that she needs to avoid getting punched in the face in the process of getting back control. So far, the only person to pull that off is Amanda Nunes and Spencer isn't even close to that level yet. You should expect the former UFC 145lb champion to get back into the win column and hopefully get a rematch against Nunes.
