8. Didn’t Last: Gina Carano & Kit Kope
Known for her vicious Muay Thai striking and modelesque appearance, Gina Carano became mixed martial art's first female star. Following her retirement in 2009, she began a successful career as an actress, and has starred in films like Deadpool and Haywire.
During the early portion of her fighting career, Carano was romantically linked with journeyman MMA fighter Kit Cope. Cope is a retired fighter with a 6-7 professional record and is best remembered for appearing on MTV's True Life, in the early 2000s. The two were even rumored to be engaged at one point. However, for reasons that have never been made public, the fighters parted ways in 2007.
Following their breakup, Carano would go on to date Superman star Henry Cavill and is currently involved with a Muay Thai kickboxer by the name of Kevin Ross.
Cope would go on to marry a woman named Lacee Casas in 2016.
