UFC Fight Night: Cerrone Vs. Gaethje Predictions

Make sure you've got no spillable items in your lap or a beer in your hand when watching the main event, because there will be a point that you jump out of your seat in excitement. Honestly, there have been so many incredible fights announced recently, that this one might just be flying under the radar. However, it has the potential to be the most action-packed fight of the year.

Just look at the two combatants competing inside the Octagon. On one side, we've got grizzled veteran and Performance Of The Night record-holder, Donald Cerrone. On the other side, there's knockout merchant and general wild man, Justin Gaethje. It's a fight made in match-making heaven.

It's difficult to really know what to expect from these two. Both of them have the technical skills to have slick battle on the feet. However, it's just as likely to turn into a brawl, with the lightweights throwing everything but the kitchen sink at each other.

While Cerrone has taken on that wily veteran role and produced some solid performances recently, he's also looked significantly slower than before. Gaethje might be reckless, but it's been relatively measured since he lost to Eddie Alvarez and Donald Cerrone. This new slightly tempered approach should lead to him having a lot of success against Cerrone, which should get him a stoppage win.
