UFC's 5 Biggest Winners And Losers In November

7. Stock Up: Jairzinho Rozenstruik

UFC heavyweight Jairzinho Rozenstruik certainly had a November to remember.

At UFC 244, Rozenstruik made short work of former UFC champ Andrei Arlovski, having knocked out the decorated veteran in just 29 seconds. Following the impressive victory, he called out another legend, #6 ranked heavyweight, Alistair Overeem.

When the Surinamese kickboxer issued the challenge, Overeem was (and is) currently scheduled to headline an upcoming UFC Fight Night on 7 December. However, when 'The Reem's' original opponent, Walt Harris, was forced to withdraw due to personal reasons, Rozenstruik jumped at the opportunity to fill in.

In the span of a calendar month, Jairzinho knocked out a former champion and went from being a relative unknown to signing a contract for the opportunity to headline a UFC fight card. If the undefeated 31-year-old is able to get past Overeem, particularly via highlight-reel knockout, he will immediately become a title contender.

Not a bad month's work.
