10 AEW Dark Matches You Must See

8. Stronghearts Vs. Jurassic Express (January 21st 2020)

Kenny Omega Joey Janela
AEW

Stronghearts were at the core of some big promises made by AEW to "Change The Universe" and split pro wrestling as we all knew it wide open when they launched in 2019.

Named by The Young Bucks as wrestlers to get excited to see much, much more of, CIMA, T-Hawk and El Lindaman were yet to build on their decorated careers in Japan before the pandemic struck. On the limited evidence from the likes of this scintillating six-man tag match, they'll provide something wholly unique to an-already stacked division.

The trio gleefully kicked the sh*t out of Marko Stunt, and while this was predominately arranged to set up a hot tag for Luchasaurus, it's a thrilling exhibition of their skillset nonetheless.

There's also a lot to like about spotting the continuing evolution of Jungle Boy. He takes a pasting of his own before sealing the win as all six sprinted to the finish, but he's long been one of the best at separating himself from chaos with fantastic facials and impeccable timing. There was lots of this to enjoy, particularly set to the much-missed buzz of a live crowd.
