What on Earth was all this about? Taking place at WrestleMania XXI no less, The Big Show took on Akebono, a championship sumo wrestler who weighed more than 500 pounds. The Hawaiian challenged Show to his own specialist bout on The Grandest Stage of Them All in a fight absolutely no one (apart from myself in this article) is talking about nine-and-a-half years later. Not many of the WWE Universe knew the rules and traditions of sumo wrestling which makes its inclusion on any professional wrestling event even more baffling. On a huge high note, we did get to see The Big Show in a thong.
