10 Best Big Man/Little Man WWE Tag Teams
1. Team Hell No
From witty anger management skits to awkwardly-won matches, Kane and Daniel Bryan’s union as Team Hell No was one of WWE’s best creations of the last decade. However, before they were hugging it out and having each other’s backs, these two men despised each other – but that shared hatred of one another led them to an unexpected Tag Team title victory.
Seeing this demon from hell arguing with a ‘goatface’ troll over which one of them was the Tag Team Champions was comedy gold – but the team’s appeal wasn’t just about the jokes. As Kane had recently resurrected his demonic persona, Team Hell No recycled some elements from his relationship with X-Pac, as the monster eventually mellowed and showed a great deal of compassion for his partner.
Team Hell No’s inception started a chain reaction of events that breathed new life into WWE. Having the two main-event level stars as Tag Team Champions reinvigorated the tag team division at a time when it was in dire need of saving. Additionally, it renewed interest in Kane who, at 45 years old, turned in some of his finest work to date. However, it’s safe to say that the team’s success benefited Daniel Bryan the most, as it kick-started his rise to the top, with a push that would ultimately take him to the main event of WrestleMania.
