10 Best Champions Of The Worst Titles In Wrestling

1. Vampiro - Wrestling Society X Championship

Vampiro Let's be honest...being the best at anything involving Wrestling Society X isn't saying much. WSX lasted a whopping ten episodes on MTV back in 2007. The promotion relied heavily on over-the-top effects, musical guests and...quite frankly, audience patience. WSX attempted to gain a ground swelling of fans by presenting themselves as an underground group of wrestling rebels. Their arena was called "The bunker". In a business of over-the-top theatrics, WSX took it to a new level. There were only two WSX champions, and Vampiro was the first of them. The other was Ricky Banderas. Even though Banderas was technically the champion longer, and went on to wrestle with some success in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, Vampiro was the more memorable champion for the four (yes, four) days that he was king of Wrestling Society X. At least Vampiro won the belt in a match against Sean Waltman (then known as 6 Pac), someone who had a respectable level of credibility. Banderas won the belt by beating Vampiro. At his best, Vampiro was known as the guy who teamed up with the above-mentioned "Insane Clown Posse" during their brief tenure with WCW before then joining with horror-punk band "The Misfits" during their just-as-brief tenure with WCW. In the annals of sports entertainment history, Vampiro can always be remembered as the least-worst champion of Wrestling Society X.
