10 Best Champions Of The Worst Titles In Wrestling

8. Chris Adams - GWF North American Heavyweight Championship

Chris Adams The Global Wrestling Federation (GWF) lasted under four years (1991-1994). Based out of Dallas, Texas, the GWF had a respectable pool of talent and was being featured as the only professional wrestling show on ESPN. The roster included the likes of "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert, Cactus Jack, Jimmy Garvin, Michael Hayes and Terry Gordy. After the original promoters left the organization, "Gentleman" Chris Adams came in from the WCCW and tried to breathe life into the fledgling organization. While in the GWF, Adams wrestled, booked matches, and was building feuds with foes such as former Freebird "Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin. Despite his best efforts, the GWF closed it's doors in September of 1994. Adams left the organization as it's final Heavyweight champion.
