10 Best Main Roster Debuts By WWE NXT Stars
8. Adam Cole
WIth a large portion of the roster stuck in Saudi Arabia following Crown Jewel 2019, WWE turned to NXT to takeover Smackdown when their roster would not make it in time. While several members of the black and gold brand made their first appearances on the main roster that night, the true star coming out of SmackDown was Adam Cole.
When Daniel Bryan threw down the challenge to fight, in stepped the NXT Champion. The leader of The Undisputed Era was more than willing to put his championship on the in the main event in their first ever matchup. What followed was a hard hitting, technical and all around amazing match between two of the best in the world. While Adam Cole came out on top, his introduction to the main roster wasn't over yet.
Three days later on Raw, NXT again took over the show, and there was Adam Cole, taking on the top star of the red brand. After turning down an offer from Triple H, Seth Rollins was given the same opportunity as Daniel Bryan, in the form of a title match against Adam Cole. In another first time ever matchup Cole and Rollins put on a clinic before the trap laid out by Triple H unfolded and the rest of The Undisputed Era attacked The Architect.
While Adam Cole never had a real run on the main roster, his debuts on Raw and SmackDown as well as his standout performance at Survivor Series against Pete Dunne more than earn him a place on this list
