As those soft-rock country heroes The Eagles once crooned, "Life in the fast lane surely makes you lose your mind". In 2015, life in WWE's Fastlane (no space between words because copyright) helped Rusev gain steam as a 'Bulgarian Brute' heel capable of cutting through even the biggest names around.

John Cena's shocked face told the full story.

The "technical submission" finish WWE booked for their United States Title match added heaps of credibility to Rusev's unbeaten streak too. Though he'd lose the belt at WrestleMania 31, there's no doubting that Ru-Ru gained a ton of respect from fans for the way he blasted through Cena in February. It's just a pity creative never capitalised on that.

Of the two Rusev offerings on this list, this is the most essential. It whisks one back to a happier time when it seemed nailed on that he'd go on to bigger and better things. This match with Cena was pre-struggle, pre-Lana break up and comes highly recommended.
