10 Best MMA Fighters Of The 2010s

1. Jon Jones

Decade Record: 17-0-(1)

It's scary to look at the record Jon Jones has amassed across his career. It's even scarier knowing he's still just 32-years-old and, without many of the controversies and troubles he's had out of the cage, his record probably should be even greater.

A beneficiary of good timing, Jones was thrown into his first title shot at just 23 as a late replacement, shocking the world when he knocked out Mauricio Rua to win the Light Heavyweight Championship in 2011. What followed was an incredible eight-fight winning streak that reads as possibly the most star-studded list of victims in history.

In order, he defended his belt against Quinton Jackson, Lyoto Machida, Rashad Evans, Vitor Belfort, Chael Sonnen, Alexander Gustafsson, Glover Teixeira and Daniel Cormier - four of those being former champions of the division.

Troubles outside the Octagon would bring an end to his legendary reign, but he would eventually return to the top once again to win the championship for a second time.

He holds the longest unbeaten streak in UFC history with 18, the longest winning streak in Light Heavyweight history with 13, tied for the most title defences in UFC history with 11, most championship fight victories with 14. You get the point: the list goes on and on and on.
