10 Best MMA Fighters Of The 2010s

4. Khabib Nurmagomedov

Decade Record: 21-0

Khabib Nurmagomedov is a grappling machine, a relentless mauler, he punishes and batters his opponents into a pulp. The Eagle is unrivalled in his penchant for wearing a man down and beating them senseless.

He already started the decade with a squeaky clean 7-0 record, adding nine more wins across 2010 and 2011 throughout the Russian and Ukrainian regional scene, fighting seven times in 2011 alone before being picked up by the UFC.

He has since added 12 more victories to the resume inside the UFC, sitting on a stunning 28-0 career record as of writing.

Nurmagomedov comfortably picked off his first few victims, even setting the crazy record of most takedowns in a single fight in 2013, taking down a hapless Abel Trujillo 21 times in just three rounds!

He knocked over Rafael Dos Anjos, Edson Barboza and Al Iaquinta to finally get his hands on the Lightweight Championship at UFC 223 after Conor McGregor's absence had held the title up, going on to defend his new belt against the Irishman in one of the wildest nights in company history.

If he ever gets to Tony Ferguson it could very well nail him down as the greatest Lightweight of all time, and one of the most dominant fighters in any division.
