Clearly one man who isn’t taking Bray’s threats too seriously is the WWE World Champion, Dean Ambrose.

He wasted little time in making his way to ringside to call out Bray for painting himself the victim. And he countered Bray’s biblical claims by reminding everyone that SmackDown Live doesn’t belong to Bray, instead it belongs to the people. But most importantly, it also belongs to the WWE World Champion.

What was so good about this line was that it not only gave Ambrose the presence of a Champion by putting Wyatt in his place, but it also set him apart from your typical babyface belt-holder.

Sure, he pandered to the crowd a little by saying the show belongs to them. But he underscored that message by saying that more importantly it belongs to the champ, which is exactly the way the show and the champion should always be portrayed.

This was further evidence of the stalwart champion that Ambrose can be; a good guy, but still not afraid to cut to the chase and say it like it is, no matter who he offends in the process. More good work from the World Champion this week, despite his limited mic time.
