10 Best Wrestlers Over 45 Years Old In The World Today
5. Christopher Daniels
There's no substitute for experience, but neither is there one for talent - for nearly 20 years, Christopher Daniels has been recognized as one of the top wrestlers on the independent scene, and the ageless "Fallen Angel" hasn't lost a step. With such a reputation, Daniels has long been on WWE's radar - but believe it or not, the company felt he was "too old" fifteen whole years ago. Their stubbornness turned out to be the gain of independent organizations like TNA and Ring of Honor, as well as Japanese outfits New Japan Pro Wrestling and Michinoku Pro. In those companies, Daniels has won a collection of titles and competed in a host of classic matches, proving that he never needed WWE anyway. Daniels, who will turn 46 this month, was a pioneer of the high-flying cruiserweight style that helped define the U.S. indies. He's still a master of it. Currently competing for Ring of Honor once again, Daniels and his "Best Moonsault Ever" are an integral part of the promotion.
