Stop typing those angry emails and please put the pitchforks down, because Sting would be higher on this list had WWE not botched his stint in the company post-debut so badly. Unfortunately for every WCW fan who dreamed of seeing their hero in WWE, matches against both Triple H and Seth Rollins failed to live up to expectations.

Even that knowledge can't sully the goosebump-inducing image of seeing Sting on WWE pay-per-view at Survivor Series 2014. If only WWE hadn't cast Sting as a pawn in the never-ending tale of The Authority, he could have done so much more for the promotion. For what it was though, Sting's wordless confrontation with Triple H had pulses racing.

This was a throwback to Sting's time as the bane of Hollywood Hogan and the nWo in WCW, and it was awesome. For all the grumbles about what was to come, simply seeing the Stinger at a major show like Survivor Series temporarily seemed like the biggest thing that had ever happened in WWE.
