10 Best WWE Raw Matches Of 2015

7. Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins (May 4)

The May 4 episode of Monday Night Raw wasn't the only time Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins locked horns on WWE television. They also did so a few times on pay-per-view, and matches between the former members of The Shield ranged from decent to wonderful. At this point, Rollins was the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, but the Raw battle was non-title. Going over 16 minutes in total, there was a real buzz surrounding the bout. Admittedly, there wasn't a lot of difference in quality between this TV match and other pay-per-view offerings, but why should wrestling fans complain about things like that? People were getting one hell of an encounter on free television, after all. This bout was designed to feed into the Payback event. Ambrose was fighting Rollins for a slot in the main event, during which Seth would defend his title. J&J Security added to the drama, running in but failing to help Rollins win. Scanning the rest of the show doesn't provide much excitement (aside from Cena vs. Zayn), which only makes Rollins vs. Ambrose an even better watch.
