10 Best WWE Raw Matches Of 2015

2. John Cena vs. Cesaro (July 6)

Previously, Cesaro was given praise for his performance against Roman Reigns in November. Long before that, he was earning rave reviews for the way he matched up against John Cena in July. As part of Cena's 'United States Open Challenge', the Swiss-born star proved to be worth his weight in gold. From an in-ring perspective, there are few better than Cesaro in today's WWE. Comments made earlier in the year by Vince McMahon on Steve Austin's podcast clearly had an effect on the man, because he was out to steal the show on July 6. On the other side of the ring, John Cena looked like he really wanted to help his peer achieve something awesome. Together, they did exactly that. the entire 'US Open' concept just worked in 2015, and is one of the best recurring segments Monday Night Raw could provide. Cesaro was booked to just come up short, but this was an intriguing battle between WWE's poster boy and someone hardcore fans view as a wrestler who should be pushed.
