10 Big Decisions WWE Needs To Make Before WrestleMania 32

2. Which Role Steve Austin Will Play

Austin himself has categorically stated that he won't be wrestling at WrestleMania 32. Previously, fans had salivated over the mere idea of seeing Stone Cold face the likes of Brock Lesnar and even John Cena. Whilst those would be huge bouts, the actual human being behind the infamous character appears to have mentally moved on from the idea of ever wrestling again. Nonetheless, Austin will show up in Arlington, Texas. His home state will surely be delighted to see him, but what kind of a role will the guy have on the show? The easy option for WWE would be to make him the 'Guest Host' of WrestleMania, but that might not satisfy fan demand. In 2011, The Rock did something similar at 'Mania XXVII, and all it did was provide a show-opening promo and involvement in the main event. The latter part of that scenario doesn't seem likely for Austin, unless WWE want to use him to add credibility to Roman Reigns. Austin could feasibly interject himself into the WWE World Heavyweight Title showdown and thump Triple H with a patented Stunner. Fans would go wild for that kind of thing, but there's no conformation on the man's role as of yet.
