10 Big Decisions WWE Needs To Make Before WrestleMania 32
3. If The Rock Will Wrestle On The Show
A few weeks ago, Dwayne Johnson himself broke the news that he was WrestleMania-bound. Naturally, WWE want Johnson to be involved in the event each year, because he's a genuine crossover star. The Rock appeals to a wider fan base than just wrestling enthusiasts, and he brings a lot of eyes on the product whenever he appears. Whilst WrestleMania week rages on, Johnson will be in the midst of filming the new Baywatch movie. Scenes are set to be filmed in Georgia, whereas 'Mania 32 takes place in Texas. That means The Rock would be making a 996 mile trip from one state to another in order to make the biggest WWE show of the year. His handlers in Hollywood may be frosty over the idea of him working a match. An appearance is confirmed, but what are the real chances of Johnson wrestling at 'Mania? It makes sense to imagine that WWE would have had to have tied this deal up long before now, there's no program currently ongoing that seems realistic for The Rock. Still, the option would appear to be there if the company can talk The Rock into it in time and find the right opponent.
