Listening to CM Punk's comments during a shoot interview conducted by Colt Cabana is wholly fascinating. Pulling no punches, Punk gives his opinions on everyone from Stephanie McMahon and Triple H to Vince McMahon and John Cena. Specifically, the wrestler was furious that WWE served his termination papers on the same day he was set to marry AJ Lee. Speaking about the incident during an appearance on the Steve Austin WWE Network show, McMahon stated that he regretted that occurrence. Vince offered an apology to Punk, which was rejected by the free agent. Even after he had left the wrestling juggernaut, CM Punk was still harbouring grudges over the way he had been treated. In 2011, the man's WWE contract was up for renewal. Due to his status as one of the top stars on the roster, Punk was able to pull some strings and get himself a better deal. Securing more money, his own tour bus and other luxuries, McMahon apparently was none too pleased about being held to ransom by the performer. In Punk's own words, he was very outspoken backstage around Vince, which led to the pair butting heads over conduct more than once.
