The Neville situation is miserable.

One of WWE's top performers throughout 2017, the former 'King of the Cruiserweights' is stuck in contractual purgatory. He hasn't been seen since walking out in October, and while he and WWE reportedly negotiated a comeback in November, the talks fell through. Now, the company aren't even letting him wind the months down. They've frozen his contract, and until the two parties strike a deal, the Englishman remains in eternal limbo.

WWE may renege on their stance and cut Neville loose, but there's little benefit to that. He'd inevitably become a huge asset to whichever competitor he ended up signing for, so it's likely that the company will instead hold him hostage until he relents, knowing all the power is in their hands.

This means there's a great chance we'll see Neville back on our screens in the near future. His career is rotting away at the moment, and while he'd probably rather be elsewhere, the frozen contract means he may not have a choice. Expect him to show up on Raw or SmackDown before long, hopefully with a bigger push.
