10 Biggest AEW Success Stories (So Far)
4. Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D
AEW's women's division has failed many of its members. That's a fact that any AEW diehard fan can point out.
Luckily, there has been one saving grace: Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.
Baker has excelled in every situation she's been placed in. That she was able to stay relevant after suffering a legitimate injury this past May is a perfect example of how compelling a performer Britt truly is. The first woman signed to an AEW contract, the real-life doctor has gone on to prove she doesn't need the Women's World Championship to thrive in the company. She no doubt will win it at some point, but maybe it's what's needed.
Not for her own benefit, but rather the benefit of the division as a whole.
In order to turn their flailing women's division around, AEW need to centre the picture around Britt. She's the perfect blend of obnoxious and tactical, and has the star power to lead the division towards a grander stage. It's a genuine shame that Baker and Serena Deeb are amongst the only real success stories to come out of this division as there are some truly great stars. They just don't get used correctly on a regular basis.
The horns are there for the taking.
