10 Biggest Triple H Guys In WWE History

5. Samoa Joe

For years, it seemed as if Samoa Joe ever entering a WWE ring was nothing more than a pipe dream. Although he's been one of the greatest wrestlers on the scene for well over a decade, his lengthy tenure in TNA prevented him from making the move to the company up north where he belonged. This was in addition to WWE never really showing any interest in him, either.

However, one man who first saw dollar signs in him several years ago was Triple H. The two briefly followed each other on Twitter with it being speculated that it was because the two talked business. All these years later, he finally became a free agent after departing TNA and the rumors ran rampant that he could be WWE-bound.

It was reported several months ago that of Vince McMahon, Tripe H and Kevin Dunn, Hunter was the one who lobbied the most to bring in Joe. The months of effort put into making the deal happen ultimately paid off when Joe signed on the dotted line in May and was brought in to work on the NXT brand.

Joe impressed the higher-ups with his recent performances on NXT and in a dark match prior to a recent Raw, proving that Triple H's instincts about a potential star shouldn't be ignored.
