10 Biggest WWF vs WCW Clashes

5. Eric Bischoff vs Stone Cold

Stone Cold's rivalry with Vince McMahon was arguably the most influential in wrestling history, tapping into the blue-collar ethic of the industry's main demographic. But Austin was sticking it to evil employers long before signing with the WWF. His short-lived ECW stint revolved around rambling promos cut on his ex-boss at WCW, Eric Bischoff. Feeling aggrieved at his release from the company - a justified reaction given his obvious talent and charisma - Austin would gain the perfect retribution against Uncle Eric by playing a major role in the outcome of the Monday Night Wars. Bischoff's shock arrival as Raw General Manager in 2002 led to an inevitable feud with his old foe, a clash which die-hard WWF fans particularly craved. Not only was Bischoff a naturally unlikeable figure, smarmy, slick and arrogant, he also represented an intrusion of the defeated enemy. Although it was a feud limited by Eric's lack of in-ring expertise, Stone Cold finally pinned Bischoff in a satisfying squash match at No Way Out 2003 - although the rivalry is perhaps best remembered for the bizarre Redneck Triathlon, in which the pair competed in events including pie-eating and belching. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xqii93_wwe-no-way-out-2003-eric-bischoff-vs-stone-cold_sport
