10 Booking Steps For WWE Raw (March 6)

1. Kevin Owens Gets Himself Disqualified Against Chris Jericho

If Kevin Owens vs. Chris Jericho was going to be WWE's choice for the Universal Title at WrestleMania (and again, that depends on decisions made at Fastlane), then there's no way the match will be given away in full for free on Raw.

That fact does not mean the creative team won't book Owens vs. Jericho in the show's main event slot; there's always an out for the writers in these situations, and KO could take the cheap way out to once again preserve his title and keep things ticking along until April 2.

The most straightforward way to do this would be to write a KO disqualification after several minutes of brawling. Ideally, it'd be the babyface Jericho that got the upper hand on the heelish Universal Champ from the opening bell, and that would also play into the idea of Owens taking the easy road and suffering a loss to prolong his title reign.

At some point, KO should crack Jericho with a steel chair mercilessly, forcing the official to call for the bell and allowing Owens to then pose with his belt in hand over the fallen frame of his former best friend.
