By now, everyone who cares about this sort of thing should know that: No, last week Roman Reigns did not bleed for real; No, the broken nose was not real; but Yes, the surgery was real. So with Reigns legitimately recovering from surgery, he undoubtedly wont be in action Monday night, but will he even show up? Hes involved in the top feud in the promotion right now, and his absence five weeks out from WrestleMania would be an interesting scenario. Without Roman present, there is no opportunity to boo him. Triple H could take to the mic and try to draw some serious heel heat. He could play up that he took Roman out, and then when Reigns is healed up, he can return the following week or so to exact revenge. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6lDeqh261nQ Or perhaps WWE will decide to do a satellite interview with Roman as he recovers something they did when he was out with a hernia more than a year ago. Whether this surgery was something that couldnt wait much longer or just happened to be fortuitous to the storyline is immaterial. Its happened, and itll be interesting to see how WWE plays it from here.
